What is Relationship-based Teaching?

In my last post I spoke about my own experience and the importance of human connection in twenty-first century learning.

During this Ted talk, Rita Pierson reflects upon the power of relationships within education. This learning theory is not subject-specific and can be applied to all disciplines.

Ironically, this motivational speech about human relationships is given through the medium of visual technology and media. This is an excellent example of how technology can be utilised to enhance our learning and understanding in the twenty-first century - through connecting us to other humans.
